Join us for our April chapter gathering on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. We’ll be discussing the topic of Sacred Foods. In each of the traditional societies studied by Dr. Weston Price, he noted that they all prized certain particularly nutrient-dense foods, which they took special care to provide for growing children, pregnant mothers, and the elderly. These sacred foods are high in the fat soluble activators, vitamins A, D, and K, and are also rich in saturated fat and cholesterol. We’ll discuss the importance of including generous amounts of these sacred foods in our diets, how to add more of the sacred foods to your menu, and why the saturated fat and cholesterol in these foods are nourishing and important for optimal health. Samples of delicious sacred foods will be available!
