Bring your favorite dish, or experiment with a new Nourishing Traditions recipe. Please bring your own place settings, if possible. Beverages will be provided.
When: Wednesday, September 21, 2011 6:45pm – 8pm
Where: Ann Arbor Center for Natural Healing, 2433 Oak Valley Drive, Suite 100B, Ann Arbor
We will also be kicking off the October 15 Millions Against Monsanto rally. The Organic Consumers Association is encouraging cities throughout the US to join forces that day in celebrating World Food Day and sponsoring a rally to raise awareness of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and truth in food labeling. A rally will be held that Saturday evening at the Kerrytown/farmers market area, and will feature speakers with the most up-to-date information on GMOs, live music from local bands, and a celebration of organic food and drink from Michigan farmers and food artisans. Karen Myers and Frances Farmer, both part of the organizing committee for the rally, will be on hand at our September 21 potluck to tell us about the event. We will hold a raffle to raise money for the rally.
This event is open to all! We hope to see you there!
